This evening I have decided to start a blog to off-load some thoughts and feelings with the people of the online world. I am a 22 year old mum and wife and even though some might think there can't be much going on in the life of a girl like me, I am sure i can suprise you sometimes with the amount of crazy things that happen in this small town in which i live. Let me start by giving you the cut down version of my life so far.
I was born to a mother and a father in a small town in North Wales. My parents had (and still do have) gypsy blood in them and can never stay in one place for longer than a few months. Because of this i moved house 46 times between the ages of 0-18. We lived everywhere from North Wales to the Isle Of Wight, from the Midlands to the Lake District. I dropped out of school at 14 having gained no qualifications and went to work full time in a restaurant. This is where i met my first husband. We moved in together and got married when i was 18. The marriage was a complete failure and disaster. He turned out to be not a very nice person and would go on to hurt me quite badly with his fists and the odd mind game. We finally came to an end in the summer of 2008, a little after a year of marriage. I confided in a friend of mine, who would become my rock and my soulmate. We have since moved in together and had a baby girl and even though we aren't officially married, i feel like i am in more of a marriage now than i ever was and have never been happier. Because of the constant moving i never really made many friends but the friends i did make have stayed with me so far but over the years we have all gone our seperate ways and found different paths and even though we are still in touch, i wouldn't call them close friends anymore. Since having my daughter my perspective has certainly changed and my goals in life have also altered some-what. All for the better may i add.
Today, i had a row with my little girls godmother. She was like my rock towards the end of my pregnancy and she was even in the delivery suite when i gave birth. She was diagnosed with an illness and then became pregnant herself. Since then she has become probably one of the most nasty and inconsiderate, selfish people i know. Having that argument with her today (which was ultimately the end of our friendship) has made me realise how many people i have in my life who cause me heartache and grief that i just don't need. So, in a moment of braveness and rage, i deleted my facebook account and culled my phonebook! Childish i know but for me it is like a new begginning. The people i am leaving behind are those who either won't even know i am gone or those who just aren't in my social circle anymore. The argument today got to me because i was not allowed to put my point across, but of course she was allowed her say. She is not the only woman in the world to ever be pregnant with an illness and as far as i am concerened our friendship is over. I hate how people change, and how people think that letting you down is perfectly acceptable. I have vented todays frustrations and anyone who has read this far must be bored. More tomorrow may be. Night Night all.
